SLOT is conducted after every system is completed.<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"rteleft\">Two crossword puzzle competitions (in general Pharmacology and Autonomic Nervous System) have been conducted. The prizes were distributed to the students by The Director of the Institute.<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"rteleft\">In addition to this, ADR Photognosis Competition was conducted twice. This was attended by representatives from WHO, Geneva, WHO \u2013 SEARO, New Delhi, CTRI and experts in the field of pharmacology and pediatrics.<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"rteleft\">A wrap up meet of \u2018Taking the Guess Work Out of Pediatric Age Estimation (TAPE)\u2019 project was jointly organized and conducted by Departments of Pharmacology and Pediatrics, IGMC&amp;RI on September 22, 2011 which was attended by pharmacologists and pediatricians of Puducherry and Tamil Nadu.<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"rteleft\">Periodic Pharmacovigilance Meetings are held in the Institute to inculcate awareness and encourage voluntary reporting of adverse drug reactions by clinicians of IGMC &amp; RI.<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"rteleft\">A study was conducted on the prescription pattern and drug utilization and the report presented towards betterment of rational prescribing practice among clinicians of IGMC &amp; RI.<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"rteleft\">The Pharmacology department has also developed a Hospital Formulary.<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"rteleft\">Following a series of meetings with the clinicians the Hospital formulary has been pruned based on recent National and WHO Essential Drug List which is followed currently in the hospital.<\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"rteleft\">Faculty members (Drs.
