Dr.S. Aruna is the Professor & Head Department of Anatomy.
She completed her MBBS from Madurai Medical College & M.S (Anatomy) from Madras Medical College. She has 14 years of post MS teaching experience. She has published 9 papers in both National, Inter National & State level journals.She has won Dr.M.M.Cooper best scientific paper award twice in Tamilnadu Anatomists Association Conferences.She organized the 32nd state level conference of Association of Anatomists, Tamilnadu at Chettinad Health City in September 2009. She was President of Tamilnadu Association of Anatomists between 2009 \u2013 2010. She has guided more than 60 UG & 15 PG students for Paper presentation in various state level and national Conference since 2000 onwards. She has also guided junior faculty members for paper presentation & publications in conferences & journals. More than 40 students guided by her have won best scientific paper award in various conferences. UG & PG Students guided by her in dissertation competition organized by Tamilnadu Anatomists Association got first prize three times consecutively in 2008, 2009 & 2010. She is a life member of Anatomical Society of India, Anatomists Association of Tamilnadu, Member of Clinical Anatomy & Senate member of Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai. She has gone as examiner for UG & PG to various universities in South India. She had served in lot of administrative post like Vice principal, warden, MCI nodal officer, cultural coordinator in her previous employments. Her special line of interest is Embryology, Neuro Anatomy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr. Thara Sundar, is the Associate Professor , IGMC & RI. She has graduated from Dr. ALM PGIBMS and underwent doctorate at JIPMER, Pondicherry. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience. In addition, she has undertaken administrative responsibilities in the institutions she has served. She has been a guide for doctoral students and has completed a number of ICMR projects. She has been an examiner for MBBS examinations all over South India. She is a member in various committees in the institution. She has a pleasing nature and is congenial to her colleagues.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"\"Dr.K.Suba Ananthi M.S , is the Associate Professor in the department of Anatomy. She has done her MBBS in Tirunelveli Medical College and MS Anatomy in Madras Medical College in 2005. She has presented numerous papers and has been awarded Dr.M.M.Cooper Memorial Award twice for best paper. She is a Life Member of Association of Anatomists Tamilnadu, Association of Clinical Anatomist and Anatomical Society of India. She reviews articles in international journals like Clinical Anatomy and Argentina journal of clinical Anatomy. She has published papers in various international and national journals. She has undergone faculty development programme and her interest is in Genetics and clinical research.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr. N. Isai Vani MS., DNB,
Dr. N. Isai Vani working as Assistant professor in the department of Anatomy has completed her MBBS from Tirunelveli Medical College & done her postgraduation in M.S Anatomy from Thanjavur Medical College. She has also completed D.N.B in Anatomy. She has delivered invited lectures in workshops \/ CMEs. Her research area of interest includes histological techniques, casting and biomedical ethics. She is trained in medical education and involved in innovative methods in teaching anatomy. She has three publications in national and international journals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

He is one of the executive members of Society of Clinical Anatomists and life member of Anatomical Society of India, Tamilnadu Anatomists Association, Karnataka chapter of Anatomists.
